   I liked these boots and they seem well made but the shaft is SOOO tall. The top hit me at the middle of the knee and cut me in the back.

   This is a beautiful boot made of good leather. However it is very wide in the heel, ankle and calf. Which is why you can easily get it on without a zipper, but my foot was swimming in it.

   I needed a classic, professional-looking knee-high boot for winter and this does it. My feet are hard to fit. The size I bought is the size I wear for sneakers; it gives me enough room for an arch-supporting insole. Even so, if my toes weren’t so wide I might have gone 1/2 size smaller, but the last pair of boots I bought (a different brand) pinched the sides of my toes and I don’t want that again. Also, the pull-on style might have been difficult for me to get on and off if I’d bought 1/2 size down. So, on balance, I’m satisfied with the size I ordered.
   The leather is really nice quality, and the soles are sturdy. The heel height is comfortable. To be honest, the styling is just slightly clunky for my taste, but that’s what is available this year. I’ve had good luck with Marc Fisher boots in the past, so I feel confident these will wear well.

   They don’t have a zipper (I thought I picked out styles with zippers, but I didn’t). I checked 3 pair of boots. I thought the styling on this one was the best but I need to change shoes several times a day and the pull on style is just too irritating.

   They appear well constructed.
   These are a very soft material for the upper portion of the boot and they ended up looking like a pirate boot on me so I returned them (very easy, thank you Zappos!).
   I only tried them on for a few minutes, but did not find them comfortable, as the insert is made of a harder material.

   The fit was ok but the boot looks like plastic, too expensive for plastic boots
