Sizing inconsistency with brand. Purchased regular pair or Levis shorts and had to go down a size. When I went to reorder, I saw Levis had these Bermudas which I liked better. Ordered and went down size thinking they’d be like other Levis denim shorts, and I have to go back up a size. On these, I would recommend you definitely go UP your normal size and they should still be snug but comfortable.

These shorts in the Willow Glen color are 92% cotton, 6% poly, and 2% elastane. You have to be careful about Levi’s products these days if you don’t want a lot of polyester in your clothes! (I don’t, because it’s hot and does not breathe, and retains odors.) NOTE that the same model of shorts in different colors, can have differing fabric contents — so if this matters to you, be sure to check the details on each color you consider! My new shorts are pretty stretchy even with the >90% cotton content, which makes them easy to move in. The rise in front brings the shorts up just to where they cover the belly button, on me. I like that Levi’s has not sewn the cuffs up, so I can wash & dry them without doubled-up fabric and then roll them as I like them when they are ready to wear. Levi’s are making their front pockets too shallow these days, and this pair of shorts is no exception — don’t try keeping a credit card or much cash in your pocket, because you’ll lose it when you sit down! Apart from that pocket flaw, these are great shorts. Levi’s are the BEST at shaping nice, snug, flattering thighs in plus-size pants & shorts, in my opinion. (Mine are size 20, and I’ve previously worn Levi’s 22s and 24s, all nice & snug across the butt & thighs.) ;-D

I love these shorts. They’re made of a nice, soft lightweight denim with just a bit of stretch. As mentioned in a previous review, the front pockets are quite shallow which is really the only drawback I can find to these jeans. If you’re looking for a pair of shorts that aren’t too short and smooth everything nicely without being too restrictive, these are the shorts for you!

Order a size up for sure. I did not like the way these fit at all. If you have the proper waist size, you might get a bit of snug feeling in the inner thighs. I found the Levi’s?® Plus New Shorts to be a much better fit all the way around. Some might not like the shorter inseam, but I’d rather have that than the pulling in the inner thighs.

Followed everyone’s advice to buy a size up and these were still too small. I bought my actual size from ANOTHER brand and those were perfect (same style Bermuda shorts as well as the material). Levi’s need to learn what real women are.

Very hard finding shorts that are long enough that I feel good in. These are very comfortable with just the
right amount of stretch. They don’t bag out after you have them on a while, they retain their shape nicely. True to size. Also higher waist, which means no butt crack showing when you sit down or bend over.

I purchased these in the Pier 39 color, which looks a bit darker in person than on the Zappos website. I chose these (as well as the Windsurfer color) because they had the highest percentage of cotton (89% cotton, 9% polyester, 2% elastane) aside from the white denim shorts. The sizing seems comparable to my other Levi’s jeans. The length is pretty good… I am 5’4″ and they fall just above my knees. The main drawback is that the front pockets are absurdly small. While I’m standing up, I can just barely fit my fairly smalliPhone X in the front pocket, but as soon as I sit down, it falls out. I’ll keep them regardless, but c’mon, Levi’s, can you kick in a few pennies for the 10 square inches of material necessary to make the pockets 1″ deeper? Sheesh.

Shorts true to size around the waist. I wish they were a little tighter on my legs (they flap a little). Overall, though, I’m very happy with the purchase.

I am very impressed with Zappos!! Jean shorts came on hangars wrapped in plastic. I do like the Levi’s material, reminds me of the way they used to make shorts. The size 18W fit me the best, but I don’t like the wider legs at the bottom on the Women size shorts. I also have a size 18 Regular that fits my thighs better (slimmer) but more comfort in waist with the 18W Women’s size. I will most likely undo the tiny sewed on hem and I can wear straight down or make my own hem of comfort.
For reference, I am 5’3 and 200 lbs. Shorts go down to knees.

I ended up keeping these shorts in the 18W. I am usually between 16W and 18W. They are great Levi shorts, just a little large in the thigh area. I will adjust the hem to my own liking as it is a sewn on small cuff. I prefer to cuff my own shorts or allow for a larger or no cuff. The tiny cuff does not make them attractive.. Good shorts made well. Love the old time Levi’s, cotton in the shorts!!
